Magnesium

Magnesium is a water soluble vitamin that we can get from the foods we eat.

What is it good for?

Magnesium is essential for calcium regulation and therefor healthy bones and teeth. It helps in supporting healthy blood pressure and blood glucose levels. Magnesium supplementation can also be useful as a sleep aid, muscle relaxant, and to improve constipation. It can also help improve mood.

If you are prone to muscle cramping, magnesium can work wonders. When I was pregnant with my son, I was prone to lower leg cramps during the night. After taking magnesium, they completely subsided.
