My go to guacamole recipe:

3 large avocados

1 tsp of salt (or more to taste, I think the salt brings out more flavor in the avocado)

1/2 lime

dash of pepper

1 pressed garlic clove

1 tsp diced jalapeño (or more to make it spicy)

1 Tbs chopped cilantro

1/4 tsp cumin

1/4 tsp red chili powder

1 handful of diced cherry tomatoes (optional and seasonal)

Pit avocados, add to large bowl with salt and lime, mash up. Add pepper, garlic, cumin, chili powder, mash up more. Add jalapeño, cilantro, and cherry tomatoes, stir in gently and transfer to serving bowl.

Serve with sliced red pepper, carrots, cucumber, and jicama. (check out last weeks post for all the nutrients in these colorful vegetables.)
